This group is for people interested in learning about and discussing topics related to text analytics (aka natural language processing). The group began life as the London GATE users group, but has since expanded to embrace other NLP platforms / toolkits and a growing interest in the use of text analytics for applications in areas such as search, social media, intelligence, life sciences, customer experience and more.  We welcome both researcher and practitioner viewpoints alike.  

We're a group of like-minded developers and scientists interested in Machine Learning, Probabilistic Graphical Models and Natural Language Processing. In this meetup, we hope to bring together machine learning practitioners to listen to each other's work alongside running a study group focused on the Stanford courses (ml-class.org, pgm-class.org and nlp-class.org).
